The Clinical Course of Internal Medicine (CCIM) is the largest event of the Patras Branch of the Scientific Society of Medical Students of Greece – EEFIE. The first seminar was held on 27-28 September 2014, at the conference venue of Agora Argyris in Patras and has become an institution, completing five consecutive years of continuous participation.

From the first steps the seminar had the universal support of the Department of Medicine of the University of Patras, while it was and still is an open invitation to all students and graduates of the medical schools of the country, to attend a three-day seminar based on major topics of Pathology, simplified and understandable for all.

The Scientific Program, signed by the professors of the Department of Medicine of the University of Patras, as well as representatives of other academic and non-academic institutions in the field of health care, gives the participants the opportunity to attend original lectures, clinical cases with active participation of the public and clinical tutorials, but also to be trained in workshops simulating daily clinical practice.

After seven successful events, the Clinical Pathology Seminar – CCIMS is being renewed and improved in order to offer participants a universal view of medical practice. This year again, Pathology meets Surgery in the 8th Clinical Course of Internal Medicine & Surgery – CCIMS (Clinical Course of Internal Medicine & Surgery) in an interesting and interactive version for all participants.

The Clinical Course of Pathology and Surgery is a recognized institution from which the participants gain knowledge, experience and lessons for the future.
